Kelsey Schiltz
I am a licensed independent mental health practitioner and certified master social worker (LICSW for short!). I received my B.S. in psychology from Emporia State University where I was a collegiate basketball player. After working in the field for two years, I returned to the classroom and obtained my master's in social work from the University of Nebraska - Omaha. I have worked in a variety of settings, including a children and family therapist at a local non-profit and served as a school social worker for LPS prior to opening my private practice. Currently, I work with older teens, college aged students, and adults. I am trained in EMDR therapy and Ego State therapy. Continuing education is an important aspect to my growth as a clinician and I enjoy integrating this into my practice.

About Kelsey
I believe listening is loving people well. I am so thankful I was called to work with individuals on their path to healing and mental well-being. I specialize in trauma and grief but work with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, interpersonal relationship conflict, infertility, motherhood and parenting to name a few. As a licensed social worker, I like to address the multiple systems (mental, emotional, physical, relational and spiritual health) involved when I provide solutions and support to my clients. I believe all of these aspects impact an individual’s overall well-being. My approach is client-centered and strength-based.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters. We enjoy being active and trying new things. We are a football family, so naturally, fall is my favorite time of year!
