I collaborate with clients to develop goals and empower them to take steps in enhancing their overall well-being by identifying their strengths and resources. I believe in helping clients be successful by recognizing their unique needs. I am trained in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1), EMDR (Level 1 and 2) and received my certificate in Medical Family Therapy from UNMC.
I am a Malaysian (Southeast Asian) and have been in the United States since 2016. I recognize that one's cultural background can impact one's well-being as well as relationships, and also recognize the challenges in being a racial minority. I strive to have unconditional positive regard for my clients as I believe everyone deserves to be seen in a positive light. I also tend to bring humor into sessions and have been described as animated and lively. I look forward to working with you!
